The best experience is achieved by using real PCs or Windows tablets with a keyboard and preferably a mouse.

JobManager contains a specially designed Role Center JOBMANREG for this purpose.

Personal access

If the employee already has access to BC/NAV with a user, then the time registration could take place with that normal access.

If the employee is on the go, there are several solutions. The device used determines which solution provides the best experience.

If a Team Member license is used all JobManager tables count as "free" writes. This applies to Customer License is downloaded after 7th of March 2020.

  1. If a Team Member license is used Update In Progress (Production) under JobManager Setup should be disabled.

Recommended setting for the BC server instance

This unfortently only applies to OnPremise installations, as SaaS solutions are more locked in settings.

We recommend all registration users login to a specific BC instance, which is only used for JobManager time registration.
